Winsol: over 140 years of experience in awnings
The Winsol story has already lasted for over 140 years. Back in 1873, carpenter Jules Winsol started creating shutters in Izegem, Belgium. He quickly introduced awnings. Production diversified later: windows and doors, garage doors, and patio pergolas.
Currently, there are 4 production sites throughout Belgium.
Belgian production
Producing in Belgium means full control over the entire process, from A to Z. We offer very high-quality varnishing, and are able to produce all possible RAL colours in our own varnish plant. Each Pergola SO! can be finished based on the wishes of the customer up to the tiniest details.
Successful international presence
Winsol has international ambitions. For example, we have been active in France for over 35 years with a production unit in Avion and a separate sales team and after-sales service. But our ambition doesn't stop there. In addition to France and Belgium, Winsol is also gaining presence in the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Winsol selects its foreign distributors with care. We assess the expertise and continuity of the Winsol awning experts in France, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria, for example. We check whether they observe the same standards on work ethics as we do, and whether they guarantee the best possible customer satisfaction. They will only qualify for installing the Pergola SO! or other Winsol products if this is the case.
Great design
The Pergola SO! recently received the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. But our other products can also rely on a team of specialised developers who are familiar with a range of construction styles and can adapt our products accordingly.
